Are You a True Raver?

There are many different types of scenes and parties around the world, but are you cut out to join a Raver's heated scene? What exactly is a raver? How do you recognize one? A raver is someone who understands and lives in the rave's world of color, noise, and adrenaline.

Are you a night owl? To discover, read the text below. Let's check how well you'd fit into a  rave environment; will you emerge as a rave god? or wind yourself outside the rave door with your headphones on.

Being a raver is a thrilling experience that every one of us takes pride in. A rave, by definition, is a massive dance party featuring electronic music DJs, but if you ask a raver, it is much more. Weekend after weekend, it's a culture, a community, and an experience to which we belong.

In the late 1980s, the term "rave" was coined to describe the unlawful gatherings of techno and acid house fans.

Rave became a significant aspect of electronic music culture around the world as these subcultures grew.

There are a few things you need to know if you want to be a part of the rave culture and experience the ecstasy that ravers do. I'll show you the most important things you should know.

1.A RAVERS CONSTITUTION – P.L.U.R.

The letters P.L.U.R. stand for:

 Peace -  Love - Unity - Respect

To be a raver, you must understand and adhere to these guidelines; otherwise, you will not be able to enjoy the experience.

2. GET LOST IN THE TECHNO MUSIC UNIVERSE

Explore, get lost, and look for answers. Techno music encompasses a wide range of sub-genres and styles, as well as a large number of DJs. Numerous musicians, as well as the more popular and well-known selectors, labor tirelessly behind the scenes in techno. Look for events in your area and get an idea of the performers who will be performing, and know what to expect from the event. You'll find some truly unique and brilliant DJs spinning a great blend of ambient, techno, hard, and deep sounds.

3. BE YOUR OWN PERSON

Egos are left at home when you go to a rave. Raves are a place where you may be yourself without fear of being judged. Ravers are people with open hearts and minds, who welcome each other’s quirkiness. Go ahead and be the strangest person you can be and live the techno experience.

Furthermore, raves are venues where you can meet a diverse range of people.

4. WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHES AND BRING A BAG

Because no one cares how you look, you should wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Raves are long celebrations, so wearing comfortable clothing is essential. Because you'll be dancing a lot, choose your most comfy shoes.

A bag containing only the necessities will also save your life. You'll thank me later if you pack an additional t-shirt, sunglasses, wallet, phone, a bottle of water, and some fruit.

5. DANCE

Ravers dance a lot because it is a form of rehabilitation for our souls.

You don't need any dance tips if you're going to a party. It doesn't matter if you're the king or queen of the dance floor or if you've never danced before. Simply listen to the music, feel it, and allow your feet to do the rest.

6. DRINK A LOT OF WATER

There's water, water, and more water! To truly appreciate the rave, you must maintain a high level of energy and be hydrated at all times. Because you will be dancing and sweating a lot, having a glass of water with you at all times will be really beneficial.

7. REMEMBER TO RETURN HOME

Raves are one-of-a-kind experiences that make us happy and allow us to forget about the rest of the world. You walk in, have fun, be yourself, express yourself, and wish it could last forever. You may want to party for 48 hours, but you will not be happier than if you party for 10 hours. Make a mental note to return home. The raves will never end. Weekend after weekend, festival after festival, event after a gig, raves will remain a part of your life for the rest of your life.

Raves are excursions of joy and self-expression that foster human connection and create lifelong memories. Now that you know what raves can do for you, go ahead and start planning your next one.
