Warsaw with its 2 airports, central location, good hotels and even better hostels is a dream city to visit. The city promises a perfect sightseeing, you can wide range of architecture starting from classicist parks and palaces, up to soviet constructivism and great examples of 30‘s modernism. The best part: delicious food – Warsaw offers wide range of cuisine, famous for its vegan friendliness. Speaking of Music, the history of Warsaw‘s house and techno underground dates back to over 25 years.
One of the most legendary venues is the Instytut, which twice a year turnes into a huge rave-arena. The next ultimate destination of the current club-life in the capital of Poland is SMOLNA-club. The place opened in 2015 and according to the diehard clubheads it’s one of the most exciting venues of central and eastern Europe. The club is located in a historical pre-war tenement house in Smolna 38 Street (city center), constructed in 1903, during the 2nd World War the building was partly destroyed, its undergrounds still have visible marks of the Warsaw uprising. Smolna hosts the biggest names of techno, house and tech – house for 3 years already. Events are held on it’s three stages, with 1300m2 floorspace.

Once you feel exhausted at Smolna, follow the tradition of moving to a 15 year-old afterparty institution of Luzztro. The place also runs it’s own record label, Hosting events across two atmospheric stages. Luzzatro is a venue with a loyal crowd and a wide range of midweek programme: Mondays of minimal techno, live stream Tuesdays, and Wednesdays of resident nights. Staying open until midday during weekends, many call it Smolna’s hedonistic cousin.
If you lean towards more DIY music, Pogłos on Burakowska 12 is your place. With the capacity of 300 it’s a cooperatively-run space, opened in 2016, hosting a variety of music styles, from reggae to punk and experimental electronic music, puts on LGBTQ+ events, like Whatever Queer Festival, and has a cute beer garden too. Jasna 1 is a twin of Poglos considering music styles, with anything from grime to gqom. The best part of Jesna 1: nights commemorating Warsaw clubs like Piekarnia on it’s 1500m2.
If you are looking for more luxury experience, head to the fashionable Niebo on historic Nowy Świat. 800-square-metre space with high ceiling and huge windows, it pleases aesthetically and has a one of the best sound systems too. Niebo is a popular daytime spot as well, you will find there a Hawaiian restaurant, events bringing together different cultures, frea markets, and food pop-ups.
As you can see, Warsaw provides a wide range of club music and believe me, what I’ve just told you is a small fraction of true colorfulness of Poland’s capital’s dancefloor.
