Delete your clubnparty account

This page explains how to delete your clubnparty account, and exactly what happens to your data when you do. It applies to the clubnparty app and website, published by clubnparty:

Option 1 — Delete your account online

You can delete your account from any web browser. You do not need to install the app.

  1. Sign in at clubnparty.com.
  2. Open the Menu.
  3. Select "Delete your account".
  4. Confirm by selecting "Delete".

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.

Option 2 — Delete your account in the app

Android

  1. Open the clubnparty app and make sure you are signed in.
  2. On the Home screen, tap the menu icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the menu, to "Account Actions".
  4. Tap "Delete Your Account".
  5. Tap "Yes" to confirm.

iOS

  1. Open the clubnparty app and make sure you are signed in.
  2. On the Home screen, tap the gear icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the menu.
  4. Tap "Delete Your Account".
  5. Tap "Yes" to confirm.

Option 3 — Ask us to delete your account

If you can no longer sign in, or you no longer have the app installed, you can ask us to delete your account for you.

  • Email [email protected] from the email address registered to your account.
  • Use the subject line "Account deletion request".
  • Include the email address or phone number registered to the account, so we can identify it.

We will confirm your request and complete it within 30 days.

Before you delete

  • If you are currently hosting an event that is active or still running, you will need to wait until it has finished before you can delete your account.
  • Deleting your account cannot be undone, and an account cannot be restored once deleted.
  • You can sign up again later using the same email address, but this creates a completely new account. None of your previous activity, tickets or history carries over.

What is deleted

  • Your sign-in credentials are removed immediately. You can no longer log in.
  • Your profile stops being visible to other people on clubnparty.
  • You are removed from search, so other people can no longer find you.
  • Your record of events you were going to, and your links as a co-host on other people's events, are removed.

Sign-in stops working immediately. The remaining changes apply across our services within seconds.

What we keep, and why

Deleting your account does not erase everything. We keep some records, and we want to be clear about which:

  • Orders, tickets and payment records are kept, so that we meet our financial record-keeping and accounting obligations.
  • The account record behind them — including your name, email address, phone number and your stored sign-in credentials — is kept in a deactivated state so those transactions remain accounted for. It is no longer visible to other users and can only be accessed by clubnparty administrators.
  • Content that is not attached to your profile is not automatically removed. This includes moments you posted, reviews you wrote, and chat messages you sent.
  • We do not currently apply a fixed time limit after which these retained records are erased.
