Music festivals are planning their biggest comebacks yet after two years of cancellations due to COVID-19. Every day, fresh dates and lineups for some of the world's biggest events are revealed, and the calendar is already looking quite full.

Nowadays, we don’t know what the future will bring and can’t help but hope to be excited for this year! There is a list of international festivals you can’t miss in 2022.

 

TOMORROWLAND

Without this famous event, your summer music festival portfolio would be incomplete. Every year, around 400,000 people from more than 75 nations go to Boom, Belgium for Tomorrowland.

Martin Garrix, Axwell Ingrosso, Zeds Dead, Eric Prydz, Maceo Plex, and others have all performed at this massive electronic music festival in prior years. This year, the music festival returns for three weekends to make up for lost time in the previous two years.

GLASTONBURY

EXIT FESTIVAL

Two-time winner of the “Best Major European Festival”, EXIT Festival has become one of the most sought-after music festivals in Europe.

The magnificent Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia, serves as the perfect background for the festival's spectacular lineups and production. EXIT 2021 drew over 180,000 people and included hundreds of performances on 30 distinct stages. The Prodigy, Arctic Monkeys, Madonna, The Killers, Sex Pistols, Guns'n'Roses, David Guetta, Carl Cox, Nina Kraviz, Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, and others have all performed in previous lineups.

MAD COOL

Mad Cool has earned serious respect from fans, musicians, and the music festival business since its beginning, despite the fact that it is just in its fifth iteration. This three-day festival is relatively new to the scene, yet it packs a powerful impact. Twenty One Pilots, Metallica, Imagine Dragons, and a few of other artists are already on the bill for this year's festival. AMSTERDAM DANCE EVENT (ADE)

ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) is Europe's premier music conference and festival. Over 2,500 artists perform at over 1000 events in over 200 venues throughout the Dutch capital. Amsterdam breathes electronic music for a week, playing a wide range of electronic sub-genres in every nook and cranny of the city. ADE should be on your bucket list this year if you want to witness some of the world's biggest performers play and visit some of the region's best nightlife places; it never disappoints!
